Kitchen Cabinet Doors

Kitchen Cabinet Doors

Your choice of kitchen cabinet doors is no small decision. It is undoubtedly one of the most important design decisions you will make, being the most visual element of the space. Whether you want your overall kitchen to look and feel modern and fun, traditional and classic, or minimalistic and contemporary, the cabinet choice will set the tone.

As well as the importance of the cabinet doors themselves, there are also other decisions you can make in terms of their design and functionality. From contemporary bifold cabinet doors which can be folded back to save space, and modern “slider” doors, to traditional shaker doors with soft closures and glass fronted cabinets which can display all your finest crockery, there’s a wide selection of choices to make.

Read on to get inspired about this different options. If any of these ideas have inspired you to begin designing your kitchen with Seymour Kitchens, get in touch with us on 01483 573 989 or email seymour@seymour-partners.co.uk. We look forward to hearing from you.

Classic Doors

The classic door still remains the most popular type of cabinet door, which is opened and closed as you would expect. Here at Seymour Kitchens, we use soft-close hinges as standard, but if you are looking for more of a traditional look, you can opt for steel butt hinges. The style of the door is very versatile, and comes in all types of designs, materials and colours including shaker, slab and timber effected texture.

Sliding Doors

Our partners at Masterclass Kitchens offer sliding door cabinets as a great alternative to the classic doors. By having this sliding mechanism, there will be no doors getting in the way of walking spaces, and they come with a soft closure as standard. As they are a bit different and unique, they offer a bit of a “wow” factor!

Bi-Fold Doors

One of their more recent releases from our partners at Masterclass Kitchens. we love the wonderful design of the bi-fold kitchen cabinet doors. They work perfectly with kitchens of limited space as their design consists of fastened panels and hinges that allow the door to collapse and expand in a singular motion. Trendy and stylish, we expect these to be the choice in many kitchens soon.

Corner Doors

Otherwise known as “dog-leg” doors, utilising corners for storage is a fantastic way to gain significant amounts of space. With many different options internally to ensure the space is designed with you and your family in mind, we’ll make sure we maximise on storage and ensure everything can be accessed easily too.
