We understand that starting the process of getting a new kitchen can feel like a daunting prospect. As the heart of the home, it is very important that the design that you go for is right for you and your family. And given that getting a kitchen redone is often the most expensive room to renovate in a house, ensuring it has longevity is also important.
From the style, colour and layout, to the smaller details like the taps, handles and lighting, there’s a lot to consider. So, how to get started? Take a read below!
Do a little homework
It always helps to do a little research before embarking on a new kitchen project. Whether this be flicking through magazines or scrolling through Pinterest, it always helps to have an idea of the style of kitchen that you like. With a variety of different kitchens being displayed, a visit to our showroom is also a great source of inspiration.
Book an appointment at our showroom
Book an appointment to visit our showroom based 2 miles south of Guildford, in Artington. Get inspired as you walk around. From modern and contemporary, to traditional, we’ve got lots to look at. Please call in advance on 01483 573 989 to schedule in a suitable time to speak to a Chloe or David.
Arrange a home visit
The next step is to arrange a site survey, where we can get a feel for the style and design that would work best in your home. If the site is not existing or is going to change drastically then we are more than happy to work from architectural drawings.
Rough draft of the layout of your kitchen
From this meeting we can prepare a rough draft for the layout of your new kitchen, and give you an idea on budget.
Choose if you want to work with us
We talk through our design and proposed materials with you in the showroom, and make any changes you wish to see in the design. Our 3D visuals will give you a good idea of how the space will look. If you would like us to release our plans, visuals and propose some appliances for you we charge £250 which is deductible from any order and without obligation. Design Planned
Working closely with you to craft your perfect kitchen, each design is tailored to the client by hand. We can provide you with 3D visuals of the designs, adapting until you are fully satisfied. Timelines will be determined and design fees may apply for 3D visuals.
Cabinets Crafted
Once the design is finalised and the deposit received, your cabinets will then be made in our on-site workshop.
Installation
Installation will follow and your perfect kitchen will be yours to use.
