HANDLELESS
The HANDLELESS kitchen is really little more than a stylistic variant of what we term the CONTEMPORARY look. As the name suggests, the distinguishing feature of a HANDLELESS kitchen is the complete absence of knobs or handles! The end result is a particularly clean, sharp and uncluttered appearance; what some people might call minimalist. There are essentially two ways of achieving this visual end result. The first is a channel that leaves room for fingers to leverage a door or pull open a drawer. Typically, these channels would be trimmed with a metal strip. The other way is to fit touch latches that operate on a spring mechanism. Lightly touch the door or drawer and it will spring open. To close, just push back into place. A HANDLELESS kitchen is perhaps the ultimate in urban chic. It’s totally uncluttered and normally appeals to those who like a certain sense of order in their lives!
